Mirrors and Foundation

Mirrors only reflect what we see.
Or is it what we want to see?

Eyes fixate on each other's eyes
so souls are seen,
but circumstances, behavior, self-perception
are looked over.

Souls aren't the details,
just the core.

Learning to live in concrete beyond abstract,
beyond memory, beyond emotion, beyond intellectualism, beyond philosophizing,
beyond the psychology of our subconscious,
beyond the butterfly feeling,
beyond the gut intuition of "safe space."

All comes crashing down,
if there is no foundation--

--where spiritual meets physical.

Is the medium where completeness can birth happiness?
The fulfillment of letting dreams die, bury in earth, and rise to life?
